Hochweit makes a statement about the current teaching and research of the award-winning Fakultät für Architektur und Landschaft at the Leibniz Universität Hannover and functions as a mouthpiece for the faculty, whose nine institutes reflect the enriching power of interdisciplinary cooperation. The yearbook presents numerous exemplary design and teaching events, research activities, lectures, excursions, workshops, exhibitions, and discussions about the discipline organized by the faculty from the past year.
Both essays in this year’s edition of Hochweit focus on the Bauhaus. Markus Jager’s contribution is devoted to the interaction between this famous institution and the Werkkunstschule Hannover. Herbert Lindinger and Jens Broszeit discuss the influence of the Bauhaus on the Ulmer Hochschule für Gestaltung (Ulm School of Design).
