Tom Trevor describes his most immediate impression of Otto Zitko’s extensive wall murals as: the feeling of being swallowed by an overpowering, intensively engaging environment, that seems to directly confront the viewer, both physically and mentally, with a whole subjective reality. This volume documents three interventions by Otto Zitko—two created by the artist in 2009 in Premium Point, Bucharest and at Hamburger Bahnhof – Museum für Gegenwart, Berlin respectively and one created in 2010 for the exhibition “Me, Myself and I – Otto Zitko & Louise Bourgeois” in the Arnolfini, Bristol.
