The Austrian painter Adam Jankowski has been teaching painting at the University of Art and Design Offenbach since 1987. In summer 2013, after 26 years, he will be leaving his teaching position there. On this occasion, the Nassau Art Association Wiesbaden is holding the group exhibition FREIE SICHT, a collection of works by himself and by former students–artists who have since achieved success within the international art scene. Adam Jankowski’s liberal attitude to art and teaching is reflected in the selection of works from a wide range of artistic fields and media – painting, drawing, objects, art photography, spatial installations, design concepts – in traditional and digital forms, also including experimental works by artistically influenced communication designers.
