"science + fiction" is a play of combinations confronting modern science with its artistic reflection. Composed of a wide-ranging selection of writings and pictures, this volume invites the reader to follow a trail to the outer margins of science. The upper half of the book compromises a panorama of pictures displaying - often in a fantastic manner - the interpretation of science and science and fiction. The lower half is made up of essays and interviews concerned with the relation between image and reality, culture and globalization, media, key technologies, war and terrorism.
